Our medical professionals are in high demand throughout the state of New York. We are always looking for doctors, nurses, physician's assistants and emergency medical technicians to join the New York Guard. Not only do our medical staff support the New York Guard, they are often called upon to assist with the New York National Guard as well. If you are a doctor, nurse or physician's assistant, you may also qualify for a direct commission into our officer's corps. This is one of the few specialties that qualifies to join as an officer.
