56th Area Command
The 56th Area Command covers The Capital Region, the Hudson River Valley, and Upstate New York. The 56th has three detachments. One at Camp Smith, one at Latham New York, and one at Stewart Air National Guard base. You would be assigned to the detachment closest to your home of record.
